- Industrial Plumbing Modeling: Develop detailed BIM models for industrial plumbing systems, ensuring alignment with client standards and project requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the client’s engineering, construction, and design teams to ensure accurate and coordinated models.
- Design & Build Projects: Support Design & Build, Plan & Spec, and Tenant Improvement Projects by creating and refining BIM models that reflect project specifications.
- Quality Control: Review and validate models to ensure they meet industry standards and client’s quality expectations.
- Coordination with Trades: Collaborate with HVAC, control systems, and other relevant trades to integrate plumbing systems into overall building models.
- Onsite Support: Provide onsite BIM support, including updates and modifications to models based on real-time feedback and project changes.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation and deliverables from BIM models, including shop drawings, schedules, and material lists.
- Compliance: Ensure all models comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) to create and manage 3D models, perform clash detection, and optimize workflows.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the modeling process, offering practical solutions to ensure project continuity.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in BIM, with a focus on industrial plumbing modeling.
- Education: Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial plumbing systems, including design principles, installation methods, and code requirements.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex issues within the BIM process.
