We're looking for a Data Management Technician to join the Production Engineering team in Granada, Spain.

The Position:

 

You will be part of the Production Engineering Department performing tasks related with production such as: assembly and testing of high-quality electronic equipment for timing distribution. Also, you will be responsible of data management in ARENA PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Perform the assembly and testing of electronic equipment in an electronics laboratory environment.
  • Interpret electrical diagrams and technical documents to carry out equipment assembly.
  • Conduct soldering and electrical connections with precision and safety.
  • Perform functional tests and ensure the quality and performance of the electronic equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of tests and results obtained during the assembly and testing process.
  • Responsible for managing the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system using Arena
  • Responsible for managing of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
  • BOM (Bill of materials) and electronic component management in PLM system.
  • General documentation management in PLM system such as RoHS, Drawings, datasheets and so on.
  • Strong Collaboration with other departments to manage the PLM system for technical documentation.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a responsible individual of the PLM system (ARENA). Additionally, the candidate will be expected to support the assembly and testing of electronic equipment.

  • Previous experience in the assembly and testing of electronic equipment.
  • Previous experience with PLM systems, (desirable in ARENA)
  • Solid knowledge of electronics and familiarity with electronics laboratory tools.
  • Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical documents.
  • Proficiency in soldering and connecting electronic components.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Experience using computer tools related to the assembly and testing of electronic equipment.
  • Desirable Knowledge for Assembly and Testing:
  • Familiarity with quality standards and safety regulations in the assembly of electronic equipment, such as IPC Class 2.
  • Knowledge of programming and software debugging in electronic environments.
  • Proficiency in the use of measurement tools and electronic testing equipment.
  • Experience with production management systems and quality control.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for efficient product flow.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both oral and written, to interact with colleagues from outside Spain.



Desirable additional knowledge:


  • More than 2 year of experience with PLM systems and quality control such us SAP and ARENA.
