The position
Working out of our Pleasanton branch, you’ll work in a high performing and welcoming team.
A typical day will involve:
- Information gathering
- Proposals and Price negotiation
- Customer visits
- Consulting with Product Managers
You’ll get hands-on and broad business to business (B2B) sales and chemical industry experience.
Requirements
- A degree in Business or Science, majoring in fields such as Food/nutrition, Chemistry/chemicals etc. – Completed between 2013 and September 2019 is advantageous, but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Customer service experience
- A competitive and driven attitude
- A driver’s license and living within a reasonable distance to the office (near Long Beach Airport)
- Unrestricted rights to work in the US - US citizenship or unrestricted working rights.
- A desire to start your career in sales.
- Customer service experience in the Food-service industry is desirable

We offer an excellent package for entry level reps: Competitive Base Salary, full medical & dental, 401K (after 6 months), a generous 20 days (4 weeks) annual leave/paid time off with 17.5% leave salary supplement.
Training is comprehensive and hands on, with a knowledgeable friendly team within our branch office, as well as in our head office in Sydney Australia.
