- Maintain relationships with key accounts
- Manage Precoa’s relationship with funeral home owners and staff
- Lead consumer sales presentations both in the field and within the funeral home
- Promote local lead generation with Advance Funeral Planners (AFPs)
- Train Advance Funeral Planners on Precoa’s Web Portal
- Ride along on Advance Funeral Planners appointments with interested consumers
- Attend company sales meetings and events
- Develop and lead local and regional trainings on Precoa’s sales techniques
- Assist with Precoa’s local recruiting efforts
- Serve as an onboarding consultant to Field Managers
- Travel to new accounts to help onboard them and/or new sales agents
- Be an expert on Precoa’s insurance carrier partner products, paperwork, and processes
- Work with new sales agents to help them obtain and maintain their license to sell insurance and become contracted with Precoa and the partner insurance carrier
- Quickly develop relationships and build trust with Precoa Field Managers, funeral home owners, funeral home staff and sales agents
- Utilize reporting to identify sales growth opportunities for both accounts and sales agents, and work with them to improve
- Provide updates on account and onboarding progress to all stakeholders
- Develop new approaches and techniques for making improvements in training programs.
- Ability to master the sales process and presentation within the ProActive Model
- Analyze reporting and identify/prioritize areas of opportunity to increase production
- Manage complex relationships with funeral home owners and their staff
- Train and communicate to a wide variety of sales agent learning styles
- Identify sales talent, onboard, and train new sales agents, including those new to the profession
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work with a high level of ambiguity and autonomy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Analytical ability to understand current market needs based on reporting
- Manage time efficiently and able to prioritize time and tasks to be as effective as possible
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience preferred
- 3-5+ years professional sales, training and coaching experience
- Previous role with high travel requirements
- Current life insurance license, or ability to obtain
