RemX is proud to represent a reputable Heavy Equipment Company in Doral who is seeking a Purchasing Specialist. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare PO’s to purchase required parts from approved vendors.                                                                          
  •  Provide follow-up on status of orders.
  • Negotiate and research new vendors and products. 
  • Manage  records and reports up to date.
  • Following budget and keep records of all the transactions.
  • Responsible for invoicing procedures, account coding and managing databases.
  • Monitor supply chains and shipments while actively engaged in communication with senders/receivers.
  • Maintaining accurate and consistent records for all inbound and outbound shipments.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of export and import.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
  • Familiar with Great Plains Software 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Must be able to work independence and have excellent time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and detail oriented
