Production Planner/ERP

We are seeking a Production Planner/ERP Specialist to join a local manufacturer in the Racine area for a direct hire.
Pay: $25-32/HR
Description:
The role primarily interacts with manufacturing, purchasing, controls, and engineering as a key stakeholder with manufacturing planning process and maintenance of ERP content.
SUMMARY Support the development and maintenance of production schedules to ensure that deadlines are met. Help to manage ERP data and monitor elements that are essential to efficient operations. Work with manufacturing, controls, and procurement to support production and scheduling and workflow issues.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS ⇨ Monitor incoming work orders and contribute to the development of production schedules and published ship dates. ⇨ Support the data management and execute transactions within the ERP (NetSuite). ⇨ Collaborate with groups within operations to identify potential issues and support resolution. ⇨ Support other production planning and supply chain activities including routing management.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS ⇨ Experience working in a manufacturing, supply chain, or production environment is preferred. ⇨ A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent required. ⇨ Familiarity with production scheduling/planning and business processes is required. A combination of experience and education will be considered, 5 years minimum is a plus. ⇨ General knowledge of ERP systems, scheduling software, and databases is beneficial. Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus. ⇨ A working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook is necessary.
