Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsibilities:
The Logistics Department provides warehousing and distribution support to field operations. The Logistics Department receives stores, issues, and distributes tools, equipment, and material, to job sites spread throughout Pennsylvania daily. Additionally, the Logistics Department manages the vehicle and equipment fleet, including trucks, forklifts, and trailers. The Logistics Assistant is primarily responsible for executing daily warehouse operations, assuring Tools and equipment are properly loaded and quality-controlled, and performing tasks assigned to the Logistics Department.
Duties:
The Logistics Assistant reports to the Logistics Manager for daily tasks which may include but are not limited to, overseeing the receiving procedures of inbound freight, equipment identification, order picking, and loading vehicles as well as some fleet service duties. The Logistics assistant performs tool supply duties including tool order picking, put aways, classifications, and maintenance. Additionally, he/she will perform other duties assigned as identified by the Logistics Manger.
The Candidate must possess the following:
Knowledge:
•\tWarehouse operations include receipt, storage, and issue of equipment and tools.
•\tDistribution operations include loading and unloading trucks, securing loads, and driving.
•\tVehicle maintenance procedures.
Skills:
•\tProficient in MS Office suite.
•\tVehicle navigation and use of company-approved apps.
•\tWritten & Oral Communication.
•\tForklift Operations.
Abilities:
•\tWork effectively in a cross-functional Fast paced team environment.
•\tOperate trucks, vehicles, and equipment safely.
Qualifications:
•\tHighschool Diploma
•\t2-4 years of warehouse, logistics, or supply operations
•\tValid Driver’s License Clean Background Check
•\tAbility to lift 50 lbs.
•\tMust be able to work required hours.
•\tMust wear Steel-toed shoes/boots.
•\tMust have a cooperative attitude.
