Qualifications:

  • CDA/RDA Certification welcome but not required
  • 1-year + dental assistant experience
  • Working knowledge of Dentrix a plus
  • Upbeat, friendly disposition
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policy
  • Flexible to work between our two locations in Patchogue and West Babylon

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the doctor during dental procedures
  • Create a smooth, efficient, and carefree experience for all patients
  • Take digital X-rays
  • Prepare tray setups, sterilize equipment, and maintain adequate supply levels
  • Update patient charts in our system, including updated medical record history
  • Take oral impressions

Schedule: Typically working one long day and the rest are shorter days

  • Monday – 7:30am to 7:30pm
  • Tuesday – 7:30am to 7:30pm
  • Wednesday – 7:30am to 7:30pm
  • Thursday – 7:30am to 7:30pm
  • Friday – 7:30am to 5:00pm
  • Saturday – 7:30am to 1:30pm
