We are currently seeking a Hygiene Assistant to infuse new energy into our Hygiene team. Our Great South Bay location in West Babylon, NY is a welcoming and warm environment, intentionally designed to promote collaboration and foster creativity. The intention of this roll is develop our team members into a greater form of service within Babylon Dental Care.

Training We will train you to become a great hygiene assistant and our (very unique) Global Training program allows you to see how/what all departments do to support you in your role. Many of our Hygiene Assistants have moved into rolls as Dental Assistants, Hygienists and even Doctors.

We give plenty of support and we’re with you every step of the way You start our BDC journey with a 15 day Global Training and your own Ambassador to walk you thru it all. Our intention during the beginning days is to introduce you to BDC's entire service and give you customized and individualize specific training needed to master your roll as Hygiene Assistant.

Our hygiene department is very busy so we need someone who is:

· caring

· a good listener

· able to multi-task

· a problem-solver

· detail-oriented

· calm under pressure

We expect you to be personally responsible for being on-time and present for every shift you work and always willing to go the extra mile for our patients

If you have dental experience, great If not, any customer service or experience in the hospitality industry may be relatable to our practice needs and help you succeed in this role.

Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend (or other dental software) would be helpful in setting you up for success, but not mandatory. Ability to be open to learn such software.
