Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist:

Job Summary: The AP/AR Specialist is responsible for managing all Accounts Payable (AP) invoices related to service work, ensuring accurate processing to the appropriate job for profitability analysis, time and materials tracking, and AP and AR components. This role also involves following up to ensure completion and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process all AP invoices related to service work.
  • Ensure invoices are allocated to the correct job for accurate profitability tracking.
  • Track time and materials associated with each job.
  • Handle AP and AR components, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Follow up on incomplete tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and job completion.
  • Collaborate with the finance and project management teams to support overall project accounting.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Good communication and follow-up skills.
  • Basic understanding of project accounting (preferred but not critical).
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project accounting.
  • Familiarity with service-related AP/AR processes.
  • Ability to analyze and track job profitability.
  • Experience with SAP software.
