Generator Technician

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with emergency calls)
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Generator Installer to join our team. The Generator Installer will be responsible for installing and maintaining generators at various client sites. This role requires a strong background in electrical systems, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain generators according to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct pre-installation site surveys to assess electrical requirements and ensure proper installation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues with generators and associated systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and electrical system inspections.
- Respond to emergency service calls promptly and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding installation and maintenance procedures.
- Keep accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Electrician certification required.
- Generator Technician certification preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical system installation and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must pass drug testing and background checks.
