Job Description:
- Senior Calibration Technicians will perform routine and complex work related to the calibration of laboratory equipment and instrumentation in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device environment.
- As a Senior Calibration Technician, individuals are expected to possess the skills necessary to perform calibration and service in cleanrooms, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, production areas, and on systems requiring calibration services.
- Senior Calibration Technicians are trained to provide calibration and possibly other services as needed by the customer. They perform these services according to their skill and experience with a variety of equipment. Some of the equipment and instruments that services include Centrifuges, Incubators, Refrigerators, freezers, bioreactors, pH meters, Conductivity meters, Temperature instruments, Pressure instruments, Humidity instruments, HVAC, Scales and Balances, Pipettes, Laser Particle Counters, Air Samplers, Dissolution Apparatus, Spectrophotometers, KF Titrators, Coulometers, Calipers, Micrometers, Mass Flow Controllers, Dissolved Oxygen, and more.
Requirements:
- Combination of training and experience is used to determine the sufficient skill requirements for an individual to be permitted to perform tasks.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related technical area as a Senior Calibration Technician.
- Senior Calibration Technicians are expected to continuously improve skills through on-the-job training and education to achieve promotion to a higher level.
- Senior Calibration Technicians must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Senior Calibration Technicians are expected to be able to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Senior Calibration Technicians will ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 17025 accredited Quality System and all Customer requirements.
- GxP, IndySoft CCMS, field service, and OSHA training and experience preferred
