These 2 schedules are academic year plus summer session positions.
General Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care for a diverse group of students in a school setting with both ambulatory care and extended care capacities.
- Provides appropriate primary nursing care utilizing professional clinical nursing skills including assessment, care, referral, support and management of all students who come to the Rebecca M. Sykes Wellness Center.
- Identifies, assesses, evaluates and provides nursing care for acute, chronic and episodic health conditions.
- Provides urgent and emergency nursing care as a member of the Sykes Wellness Center Team

Requirements
- A MA RN license in good standing.
- BSN or higher level education preferred.
- Current CPR/AED certification is required.
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in adolescent medicine, school health, ambulatory care, urgent care/orthopedics or reproductive health care preferred.
Ideal Candidate
- Must have strong assessment skills, be comfortable working independently, and enjoy working wit the adolescent population.
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills are imperative.
- Computer skills are required and experience with electronic medical records is strongly preferred.
- Professional RN looking for a positive work environment and works collaboratively as part of a team.
