Position Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve revenue targets, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales within the roofing or construction industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of the sales process, and a passion for driving business growth.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and growth objectives.

  • Develop, lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their performance and career development.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including residential, commercial, and industrial roofing projects.

  • Run leads and appointments, lead by example. 

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, sales campaigns, and other initiatives to support sales efforts.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and follow-up.

  • Manage the sales budget, track expenses, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.

  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
     

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role in the roofing or construction industry.

  • Positive and upbeat personality with a passion for Sales and Customer Service

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools (Accylynx, Company Cam, Sumo Quote)

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

  • Must be available to work during regular business hours in the Pacific Standard Time Zone.
