Position Overview:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer support and assisting in our transition to a paperless environment across all departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Receive, process, and verify customer orders using internal systems, customer/warehouse websites, and purchase orders.
- Customer Service: Deliver high-quality service to both internal and external customers. Respond promptly to inquiries and complaints via telephone and email.
- Information Handling: Gather and assess relevant information to address product and service inquiries. Provide accurate delivery information.
- Sales Support: Assist Sales Representatives with customer-related questions and issues.
- Account Management: Set up new customer accounts and manage customer returns, credits, and re-bills.
- Workflow Organization: Organize your workflow to meet customer time frames and coordinate with internal departments.
- Process Improvement: Provide feedback on the efficiency of customer service processes and handle back orders as notified.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Customer Service, Order Entry, or a similar role preferred.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including phone and email interactions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word) and ability to use a computer effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to organize, prioritize work, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
