Job DescriptionJob Description

Talento Search Group has an opening for a Production Team Lead on the 1st shift within a machine shop environment in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is $25-$27 per hour, depending on experience.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage with the teams in a plastic injection molding facility, providing guidance and answering questions
  • Set daily, weekly and monthly goals
  • Responsible for safety, quality, delivery and cost of the shift 
  • Mentoring and coaching of the team
  • Check production specification and ensure quality of product
  • Start up and shut down of machines 
  • Operate and maintain auxiliary equipment (dryers, robots, loaders and grinders)
  • Understand Plex and Mach 2 computer systems

Experience Needed:

  • Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role, 3+ years is preferred
  • Plastic Injection molding experience
  • Experience with plastic resins and colorants
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • 5 to 10 years of fabrication experience
