As an IT Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services to our sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure, contributing to the end users overall satisfaction and productivity.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Travel to our strip locations to provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, network, and infrastructure-related issues, including but not limited to: PCs, phones, A/V, POS systems, printers and scanners) in accordance with department standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Collaborate with IT Department staff to understand IT requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, patches, and security enhancements.
  • Set up and troubleshoot network and internet connectivity issues, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Communicate effectively with end users to provide status updates, explain technical concepts in a clear manner.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to escalate complex issues and provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, auto insurance and willingness to travel to our Company sites as required. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an IT technician, or similar role (required).
  • Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and network components.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments and priorities.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport computer equipment and perform tasks in various environments.
  • Prior experience in a field technician or on-site support role.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices.
