We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Dental Business Associate to join our team. As a Dental Business Associate, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation and growth of our dental practice. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative and business-related tasks, ensuring that our office runs efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Relations:

    • Greet patients warmly and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
    • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
    • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Assist patients with insurance claims and billing inquiries.

  2. Administrative Duties:

    • Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially.
    • Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment.
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for ordering supplies and equipment.

  3. Financial Management:

    • Process payments and handle billing procedures.
    • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
    • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets.
    • Work closely with the practice manager to ensure financial goals are met.

  4. Business Development:

    • Assist in marketing efforts to attract new patients and retain existing ones.
    • Participate in community outreach events and promotional activities.
    • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the practice.

  5. Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and other staff members to provide excellent patient care.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
    • Foster a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in dental software systems and Google Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and coding procedures.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
