Inspector / CMM Programmer Job Overview:  Inspector / CMM Programmer inspects incoming, in-process, and outgoing product, performing basic to advanced inspections of product ranging from basic to high-complexity.

Inspector / CMM Programmer Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in tight tolerance machining in a job shop/contract manufacturing environment
  • GD&T Certificate required
  • Experience programming and running basic to advanced CMM programs (Calypso preferred)
  • Experience measuring parts using basic tools such as micrometers, calipers, pins, height stands on
    surface plates
  • ITAR facility, candidate must be a U.S Citizen OR Permanent resident

Inspector / CMM Programmer 

Inspector / CMM Programmer Key Duties:

  • Inspect and measure parts using basic tools such as micrometers, calipers, pins, height stands on surface plates etc., and advanced tools such as vision systems and manual or programmable CMMs
  • Program and run basic to advanced CMM programs
  • Utilize control plans and inspection instructions to evaluate product for conformance
  • Prepare inspection reports and certification packages per customer requirements
  • Document results in a clear and concise manner
  • Perform basic to advanced inspection and assembly tests
