A brand new Full time permanent, billing specialist role
located in Dover nh (in office- 100 percent Monday- Friday)

starting salary is $52K to $54K with great benefits day one.
The Billing Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of attorney bills, settlement disbursements and collecting accounts receivable.
This position is based in Dover, NH, and reports to the Director of Finance.
To be successful in this role the candidate must demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a team, in addition to working independently.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure timely set up and communication of new client matters.
· Review and edits pre-bills in response to attorney requests.
· Process bills by verifying accuracy of supporting documentation.
· Update and maintain client billing records, apply payments, and transfer payments between accounts.
· Work closely with Attorneys and Paralegals on collections of clients’ past due balances
· Compile data and prepare a variety of reports as needed.
· Other accounting functions as assigned.
Job Requirements:
· Associates Degree in Accounting and 2+ years relevant experience
· Provide outstanding client service, meet high quality standards for services and meet or exceed client expectations.
· Possess high attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently.
· Able to shift priorities and manage change with a positive outcome.
· Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Knowledge of Centerbase or other Legal software and the ability to adapt to new/different accounting system.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Law firm accounting experience a plus
