We are seeking a Catalyst Process Operator to join our team The Production Clerk will coordinate the flow of work and materials between departments as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve execution of production assignments
  • Review and distribute supplies and shipments in a timely manner
  • Confer with other departments to determine progress of work and completion dates
  • Compile reports on costs and inventory levels
  • Review and communicate production status reports
  • Serve as point of contact between production and planning teams

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in production, planning, or other related fields
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in teams

The specific tasks for the operators are:

 

Corrugation Operator: The corrugation operators are involved in the process of producing and loading corrugated fiberglass elements. This includes the following tasks:

· Operating the corrugation machines to produce elements

· Ensuring that the raw materials needed for production are in the corrugation area and scanned into the appropriate process order in SAP

· Stocking the corrugation machines with raw material. This includes loading paper onto the un-winders and adding glue to glue pot #1 and #2 on an as needed basis.

· Some mechanical maintenance of the corrugation machines

· Cleaning of the corrugation machines on a daily basis

· Loading corrugated elements into production cassettes

· Inspection and approval of the loaded PCs (if the quality control variables are within specifications the PC must be approved for use in the process)

· Keeping corrugation area free of debris that may accumulate during the day

· LOTO corrugation machine and PC loading equipment as needed

 

Robot Operator: The robot operators are involved in the process of producing the final encased elements. This includes the following tasks:

· Operating the finishing cells according to specifications listed on the production notification, including trimming, cutting, edge reinforcing, encasing and producing modules

· Ensuring that the raw materials needed for production are in the robot area and scanned into the appropriate process order in SAP

· Assign, print and attach a batch number to each element produced in the finishing cells

· Scan the element into SAP

· Inspect the final enchased elements to ensure each element meets the quality checklist specifications

· Scan the modules into SAP and assign a location in the warehouse

· Some mechanical maintenance of equipment within the finishing cells

· Stocking raw materials in the finishing cells

· Cleaning of the finishing cells on a daily basis

· Pulling test elements for the lab

· LOTO robot equipment as needed

 

Paint Operator: The paint operators are involved in all aspects of paint preparation and application. In addition to their duties in the paint room the paint operators aid the lead operators and B operator in monitoring all plant operations from the field and DCS. This includes the following tasks:

· Ensuring the paint raw material storage tanks and silos are stocked and scanned into SAP upon use

· Preparation of paint

· Sampling and testing paint for solids content, viscosity, particle size distribution, specific gravity, penetration test, and SAG on specified interval

· Reporting the results of the paint tests to the lead operators

· Preparation of the paint lacquers

· Sampling of the lacquers

· Maintaining the paint application area includes pumping the drip trough to the holding tanks as needed, changing gaskets, replacing liners and sweeping the floor

· Cleaning within the plant

· Other duties throughout plant as required by the lead operator

· LOTO equipment as needed

 

Impregnation Operator: The B operators are involved in all aspects of impregnating agent preparation and application. In addition to their duties on the impregnating agent deck the B operators aid the lead operator in monitoring all plant operations from the field and DCS. This includes the following tasks:

· Vacuuming the top of the calcined elements and hearths on the impregnation deck

· Inspecting and assigning usage decisions (according to quality checklist specifications) to calcined elements on the impregnation deck

· Ensuring that the impregnation agent stock solution raw materials are stocked and scanned into SAP upon use

· Preparation and sampling of the impregnation agent stock solutions

· Preparation and sampling of impregnation agent

· Run WPV on the calcined elements

· Vacuuming decomposer hearths as needed

· Some mechanical maintenance within the plant

· Cleaning within the plant

· Monitoring unit operation in field and on DCS

· Ensure proper operation of unit environmental and utilities equipment

· Ensure proper operation of unit process equipment

· Ensure proper operation of unit transport system

· Aiding the robot operators as needed

· Other duties throughout the plant as required by the lead operator

· LOTO equipment as needed
