Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time Community Engagement Coordinator to join the Fayette Community Foundation Team. This in-person administrative role is perfect for someone who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic office environment. The community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Fayette Community Foundation office. This includes performing general office duties, handling correspondence, and coordinating community events and meeting scheduling.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and generating monthly expense reports.
  • Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and physical.
  • Answer and direct email/calls in a professional manner.
  • Manage office supply inventory and place orders when needed.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Schedule meeting and appointments, coordinate conference room bookings.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting for staff members.
  • Assist other staff members in meeting FCF’s goals.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in office administration or related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Previous experience with a CRM program such as Foundant or Oracle/Netsuite is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Reliable transportation.

 

Scheduling and Compensation:

  • In-Office, not remote.
  • 20-25 hours per week.
  • Flexible scheduling.
