Junior Project Engineer

Position Summary:

Job Description:

· During project stage, responsible for installation of various equipment or completion of any assignment as per the Project Manager instructions

· Should have thorough knowledge about foundation checking, preparation for machine installation, Leveling, Alignment. Types of foundation bolts etc.

· Knowledge about safe working practices – work permit, electrical isolation, mechanical and hydraulic isolation, understanding of OHSAS requirements etc. is a must.

· Should have knowledge about the working of Hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication systems. Should do the troubleshooting in case of problem in minimum possible time.

· Should be able to understand the assembly drawings, hydraulic circuits, pneumatic circuits and do the root cause analysis.

· Should be able lead a group of Technicians, maintain accurate logs of various activities and should have good leadership qualities to lead and motivate the team members.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with industry regulations.

· Collaborate with other team members, including Civil, Electrical and installation contractors, to optimize and improve the project cost and time. Should have good communication skills.

· Ensure general housekeeping in the area.

Qualifications:

For this position generally include a high school Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial engineering or equivalent, with further education or vocational training in a related field being beneficial. Prior experience of working during the project stage of any seamless tube or ERW pipe manufacturing or in a steel industrial or manufacturing environment is also advantageous.
