Advanced Personnel Resources is currently recruiting for a Website Content Creator for a client of ours in the Greensboro area. This position shall be responsible for crafting content regarding the policies, procedures and other pertinent information regarding the Procurement Services Office website. The primary goal will be to attract and retain visitors by providing them with valuable, informative, and relevant content.

Position Location: Greensboro
Position Pay: $20-30 per hour DOE
Duration: 8-10 month contract
 

Responsibilities:

1. Researching industry-related topics and trends to generate ideas for content.

2. Writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct website copy that aligns with our brand voice and tone. 
3. Creating engaging and SEO-friendly content for website pages, including homepages, product/service pages, landing pages, and blog posts.
4.  Collaborating with procurement services director, third-party vendor, cross-functional teams,  to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness.
5. Optimizing content for search engines (SEO) by incorporating relevant keywords and meta tags.
6. Incorporating multimedia elements, such as images, videos, and infographics, to enhance the visual appeal and user experience of the website.
7. Proofreading and editing content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a website content writer, copywriter, or similar role.
2. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
3. Proficiency in conducting online research and synthesizing information from multiple sources.
4. Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
5. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal is a plus.

Preference:  Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
