General Description:

The Customer and Program Support Specialist supports the Proposal and Pricing Analysts, Proposal Department Manager and Program Managers in in the following activities:

  • Perform project costing estimation for small quotations and sales orders using standard cost templates. Including coordination between customers, customer service, production, shipping, contracts and program management (50%)
  • Facilitate and support customers when onsite for Factory Acceptance Test and Factory Training. (40%)
  • Perform ad hoc projects as required by Marketing, Program Management, and senior staff executives. (10%)

Remote work optional when customers are not onsite. Dual reporting to Director of Proposals & Pricing and Vice President Programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support Marketing Bid and Proposal Activity as it pertains to preparation of cost data, quotations, pricing and preparation of proposal elements in accordance with standard operational procedures.

Interface with all departments to prepare small quotes and obtain approvals in accordance with standard operational procedures.

Coordinate with customer and program managers to schedule Factory Acceptance Test and Factory Training.

Serve as host to customers onsite and coordinate with all departments to ensure customer questions are answered in a timely manner

Participate in and contribute to the Quality improvement process.

Participate in ad hoc projects and support as assigned.

Adhere to company’s policies and procedures.

Education / Experience:

Education/Experience: BA or BS in Business or related field or equivalent experience. Experience working in person with customers preferred.

Exceptional interpersonal and computer skills (specifically working with Microsoft Office Products). Requires detail-minded individual with good numeric ability, organizational skills and clear thought process. Ability to multitask, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and oversee multiple projects is essential.
