We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Operations Manager to oversee the entire operation of our business. This role is responsible for managing personnel, streamlining processes, and developing the infrastructure needed for long-term growth. The ideal candidate will implement systems that drive accountability, increase productivity, and ensure company benchmarks are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

  • Supervise and provide leadership to all employees across departments (Sales, Collections, Inventory, Installation, Warehouse).

  • Foster a productive and positive work environment by ensuring tasks are delegated, employees are held accountable, and expectations are clear.

  • Establish a system for daily and long-term tasks, ensuring no idle time is wasted.

  • Promote discipline regarding work conduct, such as limiting personal activities during work hours.

  • Keeping staff from having downtime with a goal driven culture. 

Systems & Infrastructure Development

  • Create and implement policies, procedures, and systems to support business growth.

  • Manage large-view goals and long-term plans to ensure they align with the company's vision.

  • Ensure staff track all customer interactions and incoming calls, including managing status updates through CRM system. 

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to assess business health.

Financial Management & Budgeting

  • Collaborate with the financial team to create budgets that meet company financial benchmarks.

  • Oversee collections with the team, ensuring open invoices are actively followed up on & collections are handled efficiently. 

  • Watch expenses, inventory, and office supplies, ensuring they are managed efficiently.

Inventory & Warehouse Oversight

  • Work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure inventory is organized, dated, and tracked for velocity.

  • Implement systems for notifying customers when ordered products arrive and monitoring stock levels.

Customer Relations & Service

  • Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring efficient order processing, timely service (roadside, job site, and in-house), and proactive communication.

  • Track and follow up on customer interactions to maintain strong relationships.

Reporting & Accountability

  • Generate and analyze regular reports on sales performance, financial health, and operational efficiency.

  • Hold regular meetings to discuss these reports and implement corrective measures where needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years as a successful General Manager or Operations Manager

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a commercial or service-based business.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.

  • Excellent organizational skills, able to implement and refine systems for operational success.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management.

  • Ability to create and implement sales strategies.

  • Problem-solving mindset, capable of diagnosing and resolving business inefficiencies.
