Now hiring for a contract to hire Member Services Representative

Candidates must reside locally to Buffalo, NY. Training is 8 weeks fully-on site and then the role transitions to fully remote.

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30. 

**2-3 rotating night shifts required weekly. Hours would be between 11:30, 12 to 8- 9 PM.

Pay: $18- 20 hourly dependent on experience, $1 increase upon converting to permanent with quarterly bonuses

Start Date: August 19 

• Quarterly in office team building days with paid company lunches

Responsibilities:

  • Learn fundamentals of health insurance plans and pharmacy benefits.
  • Take incoming calls from members, identify and resolve questions or issues that arise regarding the prescription 
    benefit plans and plan coverage.
  • Assist members in enrolling into appropriate manufacturer copay assistance programs to help them reduce their 
    out-of-pocket cost for specialty medications. 
  • Provide member support to answer questions regarding insurance benefit information and the copay assistance 
    program.
  • Accurately document all calls.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience or call center experience- preferably from healthcare industry
  • Must be available to work three (3) evening shifts until 8:00pm and/or 9:00pm.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high performance standards.
  • Tech savvy with experience in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
