We are hiring a Personal Care Support Summer Transition Programs for one of our clients in Ewing, NJ.

Job Description:

  • Provide showering/personal care support to adolescents and young adults age 16-22 year with visual impairment or blindness during their participation in a residential program.
  • Some participants have additional medical needs/concerns that may include but are not limited to allergies, ADHD, asthma, autism, CP, developmental delays, diabetes, post-transplant, seizure, and use of assisted mobility devices such as crutches, wheelchairs, or walkers.

Skills required:

  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
  • Experience working with individuals who have vision loss perferred

Experience Required:

  • 1-2 years experience required

Education Required:

  • Current, unencumbered NJ CNA license

Work hours:

  • 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Additional information:

  • Well qualified CNAs with 1 year or less experience will also be considered and are encouraged to apply
