Job DescriptionJob Description

As the Lead and Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a high-quality educational program that promotes the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children ages Infants- School-age. You will lead and assist a team of educators in delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive classroom environment, and maintaining strong communication with parents and guardians.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards and promotes holistic development.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Plan and conduct daily activities, including circle time, art, music, outdoor play, and sensory exploration.
  • Assess the developmental needs of each child and tailor activities to meet those needs.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and collaborative classroom culture.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress and milestones.
  • Lead and mentor assistant teachers and support staff, providing guidance and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and attendance.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
