Credit and Collections Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE Credit and Collections Supervisor

  • The Credit and Collections Supervisor will provide day-to-day guidance and coaching.
  • The Credit and Collections Supervisor will handle new customer credit appraisals.
  • The Credit and Collections Supervisor will need to analyze accounts before making recommendations for credit.
  • Will establish credit limits and maintain deadlines.
  • Use technology and data analytical skills to enhance and improve the delivery of job responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee dispute resolutions, negotiation skills and influencing ability
  • Handle a portfolio of business to collect on past due payments

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE Credit and Collections Supervisor:

  • 5+ years of AR/Credit and business to business collections experience
  • Knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations relating to credit management.
  • Demonstrate a friendly attitude in working with all levels within the organization as a supervisor, take the lead.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and ability to actively listen.
  • Independent and organized work ethics
  • Fluent with MS Office, Excel, and working knowledge of ERP and financial systems.
  • Handle and maintain confidential information
  • Attention to detail
