Medical Office Receptionist

We are looking for someone who is motivated, friendly, and energetic to fill a full-time position with a growing practice in the Southern Pines area. Must be vaccinated against Covid-19.
Responsibilities include:
- Calling patients to collect demographics for medical records and scheduling appointments
- Collecting insurance policy ID's and verifying benefits and checking price estimates for procedures scheduled.
- Notifying patients of estimated charges based on claims processed.
- Explaining patients deductibles and out of pocket expenses as necessary.
- Contacting other doctors offices if authorization or pre-certification is required.
- Documenting all contact with patients, doctors, and insurance companies.
