Established in 2014, Community Revitalization Partnership (CRP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to serve students during the day at school within their elementary, middle, and high schools, daycare centers and learning sites within the NYC tri-state area with counselors to provide various services to enhance students in-class academic performance, school/program attendance, career readiness and overall social-emotional health and wellness. Within all our work we have a focus on creating an environment for students to thrive through advocacy, creation of nurturing physical environments, teaching healthy coping skills and an emphasis on the way that nutrition, physical activity, mindfulness, and breathing techniques can support strong emotional health and well-being.

 

Job Description:

CRP is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Special Administrative Assistant, to join our Youth Development Intervention team in the social service arm of CRP. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our school-based counseling program, which offers individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling, and seminars to students across various educational levels.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·      Conducting grant searches to support the funding needs of the Intervention program.

·      Assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry.

·      Providing support in email correspondence and communication with relevant stakeholders.

·      Collaborating with the counseling team to ensure the smooth delivery of services.

·      Independently managing tasks and projects to contribute to program success.

·      Leading parent and student workshops to enhance the program's impact and community engagement.

 

Qualifications:

·      Education in social work, psychology, or a related field.

·      Experience in searching for and securing grants for non-profit organizations.

·      Excellent email writing and communication skills.

·      Ability to work independently and take initiative.

·      Familiarity with educational settings, counseling strategies, and social services.
