Job Summary

Looking for an expereinced Operating Room Medical Assistant for the following:

Pre Op Patients
Sterlize Instruments
Take and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine tests and blood draws
Prepare and maintain patient medical records and charts
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals
Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and medications
Provide patient education and preselling of cosmetic services.

Other responsibilities include education on treatment plans, taking photos, nursing procedures, inventory management, room prep and cleaning, and patient scheduling.

 

Job Qualifications

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and basic life support techniques
- Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Experience with electronic health record systems preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in a hospital or ambulatory practice preferred
