A&P Mechanic TYS
Full-time / Night Shift
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform contract maintenance for various airlines.
Perform line inspections.
Perform maintenance tasks necessary to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations. Sign for same and in accordance with various airline approved forms.
Work to consist of and include any and all phases of repair and maintenance of aircraft with the aid of tools, specialty tools, and the use of test equipment, under the guidance of various maintenance controls and their provided technical manuals.
In rare cases he/she may be authorized to perform required inspection items.
Must participate in multiple training programs.
Assure that work areas assigned are maintained in an orderly manner.
Any other duty as assigned by the company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have both airframe and powerplant certificate and high school diploma or equivalent.
Must meet the recency of experience requirements per FAR 65.83
Previous CRJ and EMB-145 experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to perform all physical aspects of aircraft maintenance.
Applicant will be pre-employment drug screen tested and if employed will be randomly tested per DOT antidrug and alcohol misuse prevention program requirements.
