Audio Visual Technician

Alliance Field Solutions is a rapidly growing Audio/Visual & Low Voltage integration and servicing company located on Long Island NY. We work in mostly commercial settings and provide a wide array of services, such as installation and maintenance for today’s Audio/Visual & Security industries throughout the Northeast region. We currently have a large influx of projects, and we are looking to add both field installation and field service technicians to our team. **We pay for all inhouse training/on boarding to get you up to speed**

Responsibilities include:

• Installing and configuring Audio / Visual equipment including but not limited too – LCDs, LEDs, Speakers, projectors, media players, network switches, WAPs, amps, etc.
• Structured cabling – Pulling, terminating, testing, and dressing various low voltage cables.
• Troubleshoot Audio/Visual issues that may arise onsite and provide appropriate reactive support to ensure satisfactory resolution
• Perform multiple customer site visits and record/provide coherent/accurate information regarding the site. (After training period has been completed)

Requirements and skills:

• Must own and be able to use and operate all hand and power tools necessary for job completion. (Includes but not limited to, standard hand tools, power drill, multiple crimp tools, etc.) – Specialized tools are provided by Alliance Field Solutions (Purchased after hire)
• Travel throughout the NYC area
• Strong organizational skills assignments and tasks
• Basic understanding of Audio/Visual and Low Voltage industry is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Common understanding of an active construction site
• Ability to articulate and document technical issues
