Join Our Team: Entry-Level Exterminator Needed at Michigan Bed Bug Specialists
About Us: Michigan Bed Bug Specialists is a fast-growing locally owned and operated company dedicated to excellence and professionalism in pest control. We are currently expanding our team and looking for a motivated and hardworking entry-level exterminator to join our dynamic team. *No experience required*.
Job Overview: This role is ideal for someone who is ready to hit the ground running and enjoys a job that combines driving, technical skills, and customer interaction. This is not your typical manual labor job; it requires intellectual engagement, precision, and effective communication.
*If you have a pesticide applicators license in the state of Michigan, is an added bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate vehicles, including with a trailer (training provided).
- Ability to lift items typically weighing 30-40 pounds.
- Generally in good health
- Troubleshoot and solve problems on-site.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and flexibility in working hours, including availability on nights and weekends.
- Clean background check and driving record.
- Confidence in driving and willingness to learn trailer operation.
- Good mechanical aptitude and comfortable using tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation:
- Starting salary of $40,000 annually or approximately $20 per hour.
- Potential to earn over $45,000 in the first year and $50,000+ in the second year based on performance.
- Additional bonuses for hard work, rapid learning, and exceptional work ethic.
