Century Group’s client is looking for a Corporate Accountant. You will be responsible for perform general accounting tasks within the Accounting Department. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $75,000 to $85,000 per year.
Job Description:
Support monthly closing activities and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Assist with daily banking and treasury operations.
Help prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.
Collaborate with industrial engineers to maintain and verify product costing in SAP.
Create financial closing journal entries as needed.
Participate in various accounting functions, including AR, AP, GL, inventory, and costing.
Support team members and external auditors during quarterly and year-end audits, preparing audit schedules as assigned.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of double-entry accounting.
Proficiency in relevant systems and applications, with a general understanding of all accounting areas.
Good mathematical and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and capable of learning new software.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and auditing.
