Candidate:

            Seeking full-time Shop Superintendent Professional interested in pursuing a career with a successful material handling equipment manufacturer. This position will be at the facility in Decatur, IL. Send cover letter and resume to sales@decomfg.com

Position:

·         Oversee daily shop operations and production at a small manufacturing facility.

·         Will require good people skills, in person meetings, communications by phone, text and email.

·         Detailed planning and scheduling to meet or exceed ship dates.

·         Planning and ordering material for projects.

·         Releasing projects to assure timely production.

·         Help ensure projects are completed and ready to ship during the packaging process.

·         Any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

·         Use of Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft office.

·         Exceptional relationship-building skills.

·         High degree of reliability, honesty, and integrity.

·         Motivated and ability to motivate others.

·         Strong organizational skills with diligence.

·         Must possess a valid driver’s license.

·         Ability to pass background check.

 

Physical Requirements:

·         Must be able to sit, stand, walk for prolonged periods of time.

·         Must be able to lift and carry 75 lb.

 

Qualifications:

·         Four years or more of proven history leading people and production in manufacturing facility or similar.

·         Experience in developing relationships with co-workers, vendors, and customers.

·         Strong people skills.

·         Self-motivated and able to work to meet or exceed goals.

·         Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings.

·         Previous AutoCAD or similar software a plus.
