We are seeking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the transformation of our digital interfaces into highly functional, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing designs that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate effectively with product managers and engineering teams to gather and evaluate user requirements. Utilize this information to guide all design decisions.
  • Skillfully illustrate design concepts via storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps. Develop and refine UI mockups and prototypes that vividly demonstrate functional and aesthetic features of upcoming sites and applications.
  • Craft intuitive and appealing graphic user interface elements including menus, tabs, widgets, navigation buttons, and search fields.
  • Generate original graphic designs, including images, sketches, and tables, to improve user experience and interface aesthetics.
  • Present rough drafts and gather feedback from internal teams and key stakeholders, integrating this feedback to refine and finalize designs.
  • Proactively identify and solve UX problems, focusing particularly on responsiveness and accessibility. Make informed adjustments to layouts based on continuous user feedback.
  • Maintain and enforce consistent style standards across platforms regarding fonts, colors, and images to ensure a cohesive and branded experience.
Basic Qualifications:


  • 7 years of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
  • 7 years proven experience working on a variety of design projects involving web-based applications.
  • 5 years of knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
  • 5 years of up-to-date knowledge and hands on working experience of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • 7 years' experience to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency; independently identify options.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.
Preferred Qualification:


  • Business knowledge and experience implementing SNAP and other federal programs as per the policy requirements.
  • Experience designing applications using the social services products
  • Experience designing and/or developing dashboards using Power BI
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development
  • Experience designing applications using low code no code technologies like Salesforce, Microsoft dynamics and others.
  • Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and Shift Left testing.
