Cenith Innovations is searching for a Senior UI & UX designer to lead user centered design in support of the US Army's XVII Airborne Corps Holistic Health & Fitness Applications at Fort Liberty in North Carolina (NC). You will work closely with product management and other stakeholders to aid in bringing their features and roadmaps to life. The ideal candidate will be comfortable creating and leading product design studies with real users to validate their designs and workflows. The candidate shall also be an advocate for and enforce design standards around design usability principles. This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to go into the office at Fort Liberty NC 2-3 times per week (non-negotiable). This position also requires the candidate to already have or be eligible for a U.S. "Secret" security clearance (non-negotiable). Responsibilities In this role you will work cross-functionally to develop product solution concepts utilizing both internal subject matter experts and interviews with end users Partnering closely with engineering and program management teams, you will be responsible for developing and executing user-centered design activities that result in a relevant and impactful product, drive user adoption, and increase customer satisfaction Be a trusted advisor for large/strategic customers; build and maintain excellent customer relationships Be user focused: Gather customer insights and feedback, and infuse the learning back into the organization and product roadmap, ensuring effective product launches and relevant features Create product demos and presentations that support peers in their ability to solicit user and stakeholder feedback. Minimum Qualifications Eligibility for a Secret level clearance. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrable experience in Product Design or a related field. Minimum 2 years experience in a software development or technical product organization. Excellent problem-framing, problem-solving, and project management skills Excellent customer service and team collaboration skills Advanced experience with Figma/Sketch or another comparable design tool Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Centered Design or technology related field or equivalent practical experience 5 years of experience in a software development or technical product organization Experience executing user centric product design processes and tools
