MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH:

*Being able to work a 5 day work week, 40 hours a week between the days of Monday & Saturday, 8am-5pm (sometimes earlier end time, sometimes later end time if needed on delivery route).

*We are 100% smoke & vape free work environment - absolutely no smoking/vaping

*Clean driving record - must be comfortable driving a box truck.

*No felony convictions and will review the nature of any misdemeanors

Job Description: At Sweet Dreams we hear from our customers every day that they choose to shop with Sweet Dreams because we are locally owned, our service is excellent, and our sales associates and delivery crew are wonderful to work with (Check out our reviews on www.sdmattress.com). A Sweet Dreams Delivery Crew & Warehouse employee’s first priority is to serve every customer and team member with a courteous and positive attitude.

Reports To: Warehouse Manager & Assistant Manager. Duties will include but are not limited to:

1) Learning our product line quickly and efficiently.

2) Work efficiently & carefully

3) Maintain a positive attitude and treat customers and co-workers with respect and courtesy

4) Maintain store, trucks, and warehouse cleanliness and organization including rearranging and transferring merchandise from the warehouse to the stores and disposing of trash and packaging materials.

5) Communicate well with our delivery crew, manager, all staff and administration.

6) Minimize damages to furniture.

7) Follow up properly on customer follow ups for service, and handle paperwork properly.

8) Timeliness and Attendance

9) Accuracy on loading the proper merchandise for deliveries.

10) Learn our how our inventory management works

11) Proper barcode labeling

12) Deliver and install furniture and mattresses

13) Unload and put away merchandise from trucks

14) Remove shoes or apply booties upon entering a customer’s home

15) Install furniture and maintain order and cleanliness in every Sweet Dreams location

Pay Range: Delivery Crew & Warehouse starts at $16 an hour. Based on training, self paced certification efforts and performance.... there are quick opportunities for increases. When out on deliveries, you will be eligible for tips and based on performance, bonuses are available to earn. Full time employees will be offered our group medical plan through United Health Care. Sweet Dreams offers to pay half of the monthly premiums for the insurance plan. AFLAC supplemental plans, PTO, Holiday and IRA benefits as well

Schedule: Availability is 8am-6pm Monday through Saturday (you won't be asked to work more than 5 days within this availability, unless you are open for overtime).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 start - quick growth opportunities
