Job Description: We are seeking an Advanced Insulin Therapy Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing patients who utilize insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) products. This role involves communication with patients' healthcare providers and vendors, verification of patients' Durable Medical Equipment (DME) benefits, obtaining necessary prior authorizations, handling medical document receipt, and ensuring patients understand their financial responsibilities.

The Advanced Insulin Therapy Associate will also communicate with referring vendor and provider representatives to support sales and increase referrals. The role requires the ability to facilitate patient and provider understanding in decision-making for their needs, and to establish a high level of trust, confidence, and satisfaction among patients, vendors, and providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with patients' healthcare providers and vendors.
  • Verify patients' DME benefits and obtain necessary prior authorizations.
  • Handle medical document receipt.
  • Obtain any patient financial responsibilities.
  • Communicate with referring vendor and provider representatives to support sales and increase referrals.
  • Facilitate patient and provider understanding in decision-making for their needs.
  • Establish trust, confidence, and satisfaction among patients, vendors, and providers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare administration or customer service.
  • Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) benefits and prior authorization processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Empathy and compassion for patients and their families affected by diabetes.
