Fender Family Dentistry is a dentist-run practice operating in Lee’s Summit for the last 40 years. Our mission is to provide each patient with exceptional dental care to promote a lifetime of health.
We are located off Third Street near downtown Lee’s Summit.
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare scheduling and possess knowledge of medical and dental terminology. The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing and highly organized.
In this role, you will:
Greet patients and provide a friendly voice when scheduling
Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling processes
Utilize medical scheduling software to input and update patient information
Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary instructions
Collaborate with dental staff to optimize appointment availability and ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions
The Qualifications
Strong customer service skills
Self-starter with ability to multitask
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role
Proficiency in office procedures, front desk operations, and medical scheduling systems
Familiarity with dental and medical terminology
Knowledge of phone systems and Dental software is a plus
Willing to train the right candidate
The Perks
Hours: 7:45a-5p M-Th & 9a-12p Friday
Pay: $20-25 per hour depending on experience
Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation after 120 days
