Responsibilities & Duties
- Responsible for answering a central multi-line telephone system and transfers to appropriate staff members.
- Provide customer service for patient questions and concerns to optimize patient satisfaction.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining records and updating personal and financial information.
- Provides medical records to third party.
- Contributes to team effort by assisting in accomplishing related results as needed.
- Protects patients rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information.
- Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, placing and expediting order for supplies, scheduling equipment service and repairs, verifying receipt of supplies and shipment orders.
- Operates listed office machines, prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail, stocks equipment, processes credit cards, manages all return mail.
- Maintains conference room, break room and lobby areas.
- Courier
Qualifications
- Must be highly organized and have exceptional time management skills to meet various deadlines.
- Position also requires candidate to assist in any administration projects assigned to them.
- Preferred a minimum of working 2 years in medical environment.
