Title: Financial Analyst

Work Location: FDIC Headquarters, Arlington, VA

Work Schedule: Full Time - Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 40 hours per week. Adherence to recognized U.S. holidays and FDIC policies.

Muscogee Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team supporting the FDIC's Division of Administration's (DOA) Centralized OM Management Group in providing financial oversight of high dollar, complex contracts.

This position requires strong financial analysis skills and a commitment to supporting the fiscal accountability and effective management of FDIC's extensive contract portfolio.

General Tasks:

  • Conduct initial reviews of complex invoices to identify deficiencies.
  • Track accruals, variances, and burn rates across the portfolio.
  • Analyze cost/price proposals and provide substantive reports.
  • Analyze large financial datasets and make recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of experience in the federal acquisition process.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated capability to analyze price proposals and large financial datasets.
  • Experience making data-driven financial recommendations.

Other Requirements:

  • Adherence to Quality Control Plan (QCP).
  • Participation in audit and data call activities.
  • Completion of required government training including AT Level I, OPSEC, Privacy Act, Information Assurance.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality and information security protocols.

Additional Information:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Previous experience working with federal financial regulatory agencies is preferred.
