Our world-renowned electrical manufacturing company is actively seeking two PDU and Disconnect Builders. These positions offer an exciting opportunity to join a team of professionals, where you will build and assemble high-quality Power Distribution Units (PDUs) and disconnect switches. Responsibilities:
Construct, install, and test PDUs and disconnect switches, ensuring they meet company standards and customer specifications.
Review and interpret assembly instructions, schematics, and technical drawings to understand the build requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the building process, applying problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
Conduct routine inspections of parts before assembly, identifying any defects and ensuring only top-quality components are used.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain a high standard of production and deliver safe, efficient products.
Comply with all workplace health and safety protocols, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Provide constructive feedback for continual improvement of the production process, contributing to the company's commitment to innovation and excellence.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years' experience in an electrical assembly or similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools.
Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Able to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of safety standards in an industrial environment.
Ability to work in a team, demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills.
Physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
