A highly successful QSR in is looking for an experienced Director of Operations with strong operations training, process creation, and cultural ambassador background to assist in driving operational excellence through efficient and effective practices to support the strategic objectives of the brand focusing on aggressive growth for a rapidly growing burger concept in the Louisville market.

This is a full-time position spending 80% of the time in the field visiting assigned stores to ensure proper execution of all initiatives, consistent or better store conditions, and understanding of guest service expectations by all employees. Regular travel within Central KY area required. As the brand grows, frequent overnight, out-of-state travel is required.

This position reports to: Chief Operations Officer.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Proven Leadership Experience: 5-7+ years as a District Manager or Director in the restaurant or fast-casual industry.
  • Operational Expertise: Demonstrated ability to train and develop restaurant teams on operational best practices.
  • New Store Openings: Experience successfully opening new restaurant locations.
  • Strategic Agility: Ability to seamlessly transition between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Talent Development: Proven track record of building high-performing teams, attracting top talent, and mentoring future leaders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ethical and Results-Oriented: Possesses strong ethical principles, self-motivation, and a collaborative approach to work.
  • Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business operations and financial management.
  • Hands-On Mentorship: Comfortable coaching and mentoring teams at the store level.
  • Process Improvement: Ability to create efficient systems and procedures to enhance operational performance.
  • Financial Analysis: Strong understanding of financial concepts, including budgeting, P&L analysis, and financial metrics.
  • Retail Management: Knowledge of retail best practices in areas such as sales, customer service, inventory, risk management, and human resources.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
