Job DescriptionJob Description

American Motor Freight is an established, locally owned trucking company being in business for 18 years. American Motor Freight is seeking a dispatcher with at least 3 years of recent experience with Seattle/Tacoma port drayage in fast paced environment.

 

Perform all dispatching and scheduling functions with accuracy and efficiency.

Experience with Tacoma and Seattle ports and rail

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office

Working knowledge of eModal and terminals websites

Ensure maximum service levels are met

Able to communicate effectively with drivers, terminal operations and customers

Effectively manage time

Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities

Sound judgement and critical thinking

Knowledge of Hours of Service and FMCSA rules and regulations

 

The position would be Monday through Friday, offering excellent pay.
