Architectural Project Manager

Carlile Group has an immediate need for a full-time Architectural Project Manager. The ideal candidate will work directly
with our design and production team ensuring that professional services meet our clients’ project goals and our
firm’s financial expectations.
Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. Anticipated salary is approximately $95,000
- $115,000 per year. Benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with employer
contribution, performance bonus, and paid vacation/personal time.
What will you do?
• Work directly with the Managing Principal to institute workflow processes to ensure design solutions
align with our client’s established requirements.
• Evaluate deliverables to ensure accuracy, coordination, and alignment with established project goals.
• Manage and oversee consultant agreements, coordination, and integration of cohesive client
deliverables.
• Mentor and provide guidance to architectural staff resulting in individual professional growth, refining
expertise, and continue to develop staff attributes for increased responsibility.
• Review project budgets, allocated resources, and sunk costs to strive towards profitability goals.
• Oversee and direct architectural accounts billable and payable.
• Provide technical support in the creation of drawings, specifications, and other deliverables as
needed while maximizing staff utilization rates.
Education and Experience: Candidate should be NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration
Boards) certified and State of Illinois licensed architect with a minimum of 3 years demonstratable Project
Management experience leading project production teams from inception through close-out. Candidate will be
responsible for client relations, consultant coordination, and managing project budgets and schedules. Team
task delegation as well as monitoring billables and project accounting.
Candidate should have excellent communication and leadership skills, be self-driven and facilitate excellence
in our services to our clients.
