We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on leader to build a world-class warehouse and logistics organization for our high-growth, omnichannel business. This role will be responsible for overseeing our receiving, product processing and outbound fulfillment departments. We are looking for an adaptable leader with a people-orientation who can leverage past experience to implement best practices that enable us to exceed customer expectations and provide a challenging, fun-filled professional experience for our employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads efforts to establish processes, procedures and KPI’s to maintain a highly organized and efficient warehouse and logistics operation.
  • Directs and coordinates activities including receiving, inventory, replenishment of stock, picking and packing outbound shipping.
  • Leads, develops and coaches a team of approximately 30 warehouse associates to meet customer service commitments and internal KPI’s.
  • Leverages past experience and knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements
  • Selects, hires, trains, motivates and evaluates employees
  • Ensures safe working practices are followed and all accidents, hazards, near misses, and property damage are reported on time; completes investigation of department safety incidents
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence initiatives
  • Creating, implementing and continuous improvements of all SOPs
  • Relationship management of all logistics partners and logistic software management
  • Responsible for departmental budget and P&L

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 5 years of experience in an upper-management role
  • Strong leadership skills with experience building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with multiple levels of employee skill sets
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and other relevant technology –
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and experience using them to drive process improvements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
  • Proven people-oriented Leadership, with a focus on optimizing, developing, and improving leadership team; operates in a team-based environment empowering the team and delegates responsibilities, guaranteeing ownership of decisions and promoting individual accountability
